911 Ride from Nova Scotia, Canada to Maine, USA
Thousands of Americans ride their bikes to enjoy Nova Scotia’s Cabot Trail, the best place in Canada to ride a motorcycle. I want to give back to our American biker friends by raising money for a charity that they cherish. I chose Rolling Thunder Charities as the sole benefactor. The major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize POW-MIA issues and are also committed to helping American veterans from all wars. Rolling Thunder is a solid organization with 93 Chapters (as of 2010) all over the United States of America. Their Charity work is directed solely by volunteers and 100% of collected funds are passed on to the cause. Each year, I will ride from Nova Scotia to Bangor, Maine, to hand over the monies raised. In 2012, President Billy White, RT Chapter 2, ME will lead a ride from Sanford, ME to meet us. This is open to all motorcycles. I’m leaving Arisaig, Nova Scotia at 8am on Friday, September 7th, 2012. Staying close to, or in, Bangor Friday Night, and meet up with Rolling Thunder members and the US contingent of the 911 ride in Bangor at 11am on Saturday, September 8th. Email me if you want to join us!
Hope you can come,
Daniel Ross

Dan- I hope that this finds you home safe and dry! What a pleasure it was to meet and ride with you. Your generous donation to Rolling Thunder will go a long way toward helping our local Veterans and their families. Without the help of people like you, we would not be able to do what we do. We are all looking forward to seeing you again. Take care. Hugs- “The girl in the mirror”
Thank you Cindy! What a trip! check out the photo albulm linked on this page. Thank you guys for all you do. After seeing all the respect and thank-you’s your Rolling Thunder Chapter got from the serving troops and the vets, I feel I have accomplished my goal of giving back to all the bikers from away that visit us here in Nova Scotia. I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of work and good deeds you guys accomplish in a year! Thank you for all that you do! Ride safe and look forward to seeing you in my mirror again next year!

The cake was nice for sure! Get yourself a few Tylenols and we’ll do some riding again next year! The donation was made possible by all the folks from all over that bought the T-Shirts. I wish they understood the impact a few of their bucks will make. You guys are doing a great job – you must be the best RT Chapter out there! Till next year, Daniel
